Garden Planner (Free Printable)

Updated: Mar 2

If you are ready to seed start. You've come to the right place! When I started gardening, I had no idea what I was doing. There was so much to read, and all I wanted to do was to get started. Right away! If that's you, then this planner i created is going to help you get you started.

To figure out dates, for my planner. I use the planting calendar from The Old Farmer's Almanac to keep me organized.

1. First, take an inventory of all the seeds and write them down according to their seed starting date, this will keep you on track and yield a successful amount of seedlings. Time is very important when it comes to gardening, and I wish I had known just how much prepping helps you during the season. I've included spacing amount, this will help you with placement.

2. Once you know what seeds you are starting, you are ready to plan your garden layout. If you are on a raised bed, use the sheet I've provided for this and sketch your heart out! This is my favorite part. If you are not a fan of sketching or drawing, simply write the name of the plant. If you are not on a raised bed, make sure you know your garden size and use the sheet provided for this.

3. Get to seed starting using the dates you have planned out, and be sure you are ready for transplanting by taking care of your plants properly. There are a lot of resources out there, here are a few of my favorites: The Old Farmer's Almanac
